Sumita Matta

Sumita is a Senior Human Resources professional and founder of peopleexcel & associates. She brings over twelve years of broad range of HR experience working across industry sectors including Technology, Financial Services, Manufacturing and Municipal Sectors. Prior to starting her own consulting business, Sumita has worked for leading consulting firms like PwC, EY, large Canadian and global corporations.

She combines her training of Organizational Psychology and HR knowledge to deliver HR solutions that are data-driven, human-centred and informed by best practices.

Some of her recent HR consulting assignments include HR Process Reviews, competency mapping, career level guides, strategic workforce planning, helping client organizations modernize HR processes and procedures. 

 

Sumita collaborates and leverages on the expertise of her network of subject matter experts and industry experts with decades of deep knowledge.

Helping others and giving back to the community gives her joy and she actions this with her community involvement. She serves as a volunteer  career mentor for Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council.
